ELDOA for Neck and Shoulders
'Text Neck' or 'Tech Neck' affects all of us, and the health issues associated with the many hours we spend on our devices can create long term harm. Experts say that poor posture can reduce lung capacity by as much as 30%, and can also be linked to headaches, neurological issues, depression and heart disease.In this workshop we will explore ways to increase postural awareness, myofascial stretches for the neck, shoulders and thoracic spine as well as specific ELDOA postures to create more space and improve disc health in these areas.
ELDOA is a therapeutic practice that was created by French Osteopathe Guy Voyer. By learning and practicing ELDOA, you will improve disc health as well as the strength and flexibility of your intrinsic spinal muscles. This practice promotes independence, and you will gain the tools to gradually and safely move away from chronic pain.
